Astral system in new pool

We are soon to begin our build of an in ground liner pool and the system being offered to us is an
Astral variable speed pump and salt system with waterway sand filter. What are anyone's experiences please...

I haven't seen any reports on that specific brand. Variable speed pumps are generally a good investment if your electrical rates are above $0.15/kWh (or for more expensive pumps $0.20/kWh). At lower electrical rates you are unlikely to ever pay back the initial investment in the pump.

I have an Astral filter at least. Didn't know they had a line of pumps though.
