RV antifreeze

I am assuming that RV antifreeze will not attack the seals in a pool pump, since it is supposed to be used in potable water systems. I plan on draining my pump and filling it with antifreeze.

Will this be OK over winter?

It's pretty standard to put antifreeze in pumps over winter. Yes it helps protect the seals. Recommend to bring anything that can be brought in, to be brought inside.

I've only had the Intex pumps before this year, so I wasn't sure. My first time closing with a real pool pump.
