Number of returns (inlets)

Hi,
I am getting new pool built and I am wondering if 4 returns is too much. If I operate at 35GPM (for 8hr turnover) then will the GPM per return be divided by 4? I am concerned the water pressure out of the inlets will be too low.

Any comments on how the number of returns affect the water pressure or ability to circulate water around the pool?

4 returns is pretty normal for that volume of water

You can affect the velocity out of the jet by changing the size of the eyeball returns.
