Blue diamond "Pearls"

Hi - Got my Blue Diamond today. Tried it and have a few questions.
It doesn't climb very well - any tips.
What is the best setting for the handle angles - my pool has multiple curves and sloped walls (gunite).
How do you usually get it out of the pool? - pulling on the cord seems like a bad thing to do!

Pulling by the cord (gently) is the way they say you should do it. Once it getsnear the surface reach down and pick it up by the handle.

Which did you get - the Blue Diamond or Blue Pearl?

Hi - Got the Blue Diamond.
Adjusted the handles to have less angle - now travels the whole pool.
So far - so good.
