SWG & Special Test?

I have a saltwater generator for my pool. Is there a special kind of test kit that I need to use?
I see that there is a" salt option "for some of the kits. Is it possible to go with the BBB method mentioned in this forum with salt water? I am so new at this pool care any suggestions would help.

Yes, the BBB method works with a SWG. There are some small differences in the details, but the essence of the BBB method is exactly the same.

When you have a SWG it is good to have a salt test. The AquaChek salt test strips are currently the best choice for testing salt levels. They are fairly easy to find. Everything else you need to test for should be handled by a standard test kit.
