Holes in AG winter cover -- patch?

Hi--
We just got the AG pool ready for closing, and put the cover on & all was going well until our golden retriever came up on the deck and boom, jumped on the cover. There are about 8 small holes we see from his nails. Will a pool liner patch kit to work on the holes, or do we need to rip this cover off and get a new one? I don't want gross water dripping into my pristine pool water....

If the holes are small duct tape will probably work. You can try the vinyl patch kit, but if the cover is plastic I would test the glue in an inconspicuous area. The vinyl glue may dissolve the plastic and make the problem worse.
