I imagine they are the exact same models. This would let you access the extra features. I ready someone was going to try this and see if it worked. I don't remember a response.
Has anyone tried a M5 advanced remote on a Dolphin Z5?

I seem to recall someone did try this And I believe it did work. Try searching m5 or z5 here.
99954226 is the number for the pro remote. Seems to be 115 bucks. Not sure if I want the extra features that bad.
I recently saw a Dolphin remote on ebay for $80. Looked to be OEM and indicated it would work on the M5....can't remember if they listed the Z5 as well.
I discovered today that the M5 is sold in Brick and Mortar stores and comes with the Pro Remote that offers more features than the remote that comes with the Z5. The Z5, as it turns out, is sold through online sites and does not have the third roller in the middle like the M5. As for being able to use the M5 remote on the Z5, I read in a different thread that it will work, but you won't be able to make the Z5 do everything the M5 and the Pro Remote are capable of.
