De filter housing leaking

Hey all, drained washed pool and filter. Cleaned the seal and the housing applied lube tapped and tightened
The clamp. Housing is leaking. New oring 6 months ago. Cleaned the filter before with no leaks. Any advice appreciated.

I would just pull the top and make sure there is not a piece of debris on the o-ring. Mine is over 5 years old and I have never seen any leaking around the seam.

Mine has never leaked before either. I may try to put the old oring back In and see what that does. I really cleaned the oring channel thinking that would help but no.

Rule of thumb: the last thing you worked on is the first thing that breaks. Open it up again and doublecheck things. I smeared a little lube around the inside of the clamp so it slides easier as it cinches down. I don't know if it helped any, but I thought I'd toss that out.
