New Pool Owner

Just had a Gunite pool finished up a few weeks ago. Plaster was done 2 weeks tomorrow and water was put in that very day. Been brushing twice a day religiously. Last week put in some muriatic acid to drop the PH. My question is when to introduce chlorine? Also with the plaster being 2 weeks old now can I drop my auto vac in a let it go to town?

My pool company is difficult to communicate with, kinda regretting going with them but its done and ready for next season and I always have you guys to turn to for help..

There is a very good article in Pool School on new plaster start up. Good place to start. There are also different types of start up with different procedures. What type of start up did your PB recommend ?
There are others here that know more than I do about new plaster start up. ?
