Will CYA addition reduce ph or TA?

I am gradually adding granulated CYA to my pool now. I have ph of 7.2 ( or maybe a little lower) and TA of 60 using the TA-100 test. A little low, but not too bad. So, since CYA is an acid, will it reduce the TA or ph?

Not in any significant way. If you are concerned then just wait for the CYA to dissolve (about a week) and retest your pH and TA and make any adjustments you feel are needed.
