Break in Period?

I am about to start up a pool remodel that has been, frankly, a real pain in the butt. I am concerned that my start up of the replastered pool will continue in the same vein...
Over at pool school, it says no swimming during the "break-in period". But it doesn't designate when the period is. Also, the Pentair rep that installed my equipment says that I can swim on day one...so which one is it?
Also, no SWG for 30 days...so does this mean no salt for the same period? What happens to the chemistry once I dump the salt in?
Thanks

I am not sure how long that goes, but really you builder is warranty holder so their input is important. I think plaster requires longer than pebble products.

The salt is what should not be added for 30 days, thus you can not use the SWG.

OnBalance has some great posts discussing plaster.
