DelOzone MDV Leaking

Hello All, the 09-0620 cartridge attached to my DelOzone MVD system is pouring water when my pump is running. It used to just drip water, but this morning it was shooting water. Any idea on what's going on? I've read alot of posts about the Ozone system being useless for outdoor pools. Is there a way to fix this problem myself, or should I just eliminate the entire system?

Few, if any, have much good to say about an ozone system in an outdoor pool. If it were my pool, I would remove it from the system and never look back.

I'd be fine removing it, but is this something a novice can do? Do I just need to close the valves and eliminate water running through it? I just replaced the cartridge and I'm still getting a non-stop stream of water from the leak tube.

Ok, it looks like the new cartridge magically fixed the problem. It didn't at first but after 10 minutes or so the constant fire hose effect is now gone!
