Digging started in early July and construction is taking longer than expected. I've been lurking on this forum for awhile and will surely be looking for advise once we can actually start filing. I thought this would be a good place to document the progress and ask for suggestions regarding final grading and landscaping. We plan to have new irrigation lines installed before the sod goes in.

Dimensions will be 38'x20' and depths will be 3.5'-8' deep.

Progress has slowed to a halt waiting for the liner to be made. No real work on the pool in about a month. Is there anything I need to watch for with installation of the liner? PB removed rebar that was staked in the floor with string lines used to mark the grading. Now there are holes where the rebar stakes were. Do these need filled with grout or poolcrete? Can't believe that we are about 2 months into this and still not able to enjoy it. Looks like it will finish just in time to be winterized.
