Too Much Pump??

I have a question on my pump-filter combination.
Seems my pump is rated at 60gpm., but my filter clearly states 40gpm.
So far it hasn`t overpowered the seals in the cartridge filter housing.
It hasn`t split the housing open.
This came as a package from the dealer, so I never paid any attention to it.
A Hayward Power Flow LX, 1hp. @60gpm into a Hayward C4001575 ES, 40 sq.ft. cartridge.
Is this going to be an issue?

You are going to waste some money pumping too much water too fast through your filter. It will not be as efficient as if you had a filter rated around 80 gpm
