Algae - help

Our pool has been pretty clear this summer. No problems, until the past few weeks. It's been unseasonably cool, so we haven't been swimming. Algae is growing in the pool.

Test results:

FC=5
CC=<.5
PH is 7.8-8 (I have a hard time distinguishing)
Alkalinity is 90
CYA is 50

Thoughts? Should we just shock?

If algae is growing, it's time to SLAM. How are you getting those test results?

With my Taylor test kit.

We shocked this morning and vacuumed out what was there.

I am just not sure how it started, since the test results seem fine.
