The proper way to repair a hole in the liner.

So I have two small holes (maybe the size of a quarter) in my liner. I used the hth liner repair kit. It appears to work quite well. When applied underwater the water pressure seems to hold it in place. It actually forces it's way down into the hole enough where it creates a tight seal. I was thinking though that the material thickness is quite thin. Is there any more superior way?

The best way is to install a patch that just covers the hole first. Then place another patch over that one that's larger than the first patch. You could even add another larger patch for big holes, but two is usually enough and the best policy.
