When I turn my pump on the water becomes covered with a white foam. Water seems to smell good and clean and is pretty much clear. Couple questions, 1, what is the problem and how do I fix it. 2, is is safe to swim in while the foam is there?

Willie, please post some test results and someone will be along to help. Please to insure that you give Ch, Ph, Alc, and of course FC and CYA. If I recall this could be a Ch problem but without numbers we can't help :?
