I am thankful to come upon this site. Water is clear finally.

45"x24' AGP
Dream line High rate sand filter 45gpm
Hayward pump 1.5 h.p. 70GPM

Ordered new testing unit this week.
Last visit to pool store 2 days ago

Temp 89
TDS:700
CYA:100
PH 7.8
Adj Total Alk 145
Tot hardness 152
Saturation Index 0.4

18,500 gal pool

I had already paid pool store around $300 only in the last 2 weeks have had clear water,never again.

If your CYA is 100, and your FC is 0, you will not have clear water much longer. I suggest you get some bleach in there ASAP, dose according to the CYA chart in my signature, and maintain the minimum, at all times.

If you are confident that your CYA is really 100, I would consider a partial drain and refill with fresh water to get it down to a more manageable number.

BTW, you can update your signature line to include your pool specs and equipment, that is very helpful for those of us responding to questions. Go to your User Control Panel (top left) and then Profile, and then Edit signature. :)
