Throwing used test chemicals into the pool

Total newbie question here. Is it safe to throw the chemicals used in the TL-100 test kit into the pool after testing? I can't imagine why it wouldn't be safe considering the dilution rate (35,000 gal pool), but I just wanted to get a warm and fuzzy from one of you "old heads". Thanks much.

Welcome to TFP!!!

While you are right that it would all be well diluted, I would not recommend it. Just pour it in the dirt or down the drain.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have been tossing the test water in the dirt and I'll take your advice and continue to do so.

While dilution may be the solution to pollution, Taylor specifically says "Do not dispose of solutions in pool or spa."
