I have been skimming "pun intended" this site for a year or so and finally decided to join up.
I'm wondering what people think about the cycolac ball valve sp-735 and replacing it. I have 2 of these and they seem pretty old. I have not done anything to them in the 7 years I have owned the house. The pool itself was built in the mid 70's. I'm not sure how old these valves are and what the expected life spam of them is, but would it make sense to replace them? If so what do you recommend to use?
One is used on the intake to control either main drain, skimmer or both.
One is used for the return jets, either both on, one or the other or off.
