pH Test More Yellow Than Red

I try to keep my Ph level at 7.5 but just lately when testing the solution in the Ph section of the test tube turns yellow instead of red. The water is clear, no hint of Algae, it looks fine but taste a little funny. The Chlorine level is good. I have added soda ash to the prescribed level but this has made no difference. Does anyone have any help or advice.

I'm assuming it's more yellow than 7.2/7.0 on the color comparator?
Are you using the R-0014/R-0004 phenol red pH reagent, and not OTO?

A full set of test results would help us narrow down what the cause is.

Did this happen overnight or gradually over a few days?

I'm curious to know what your TA is. Can you post complete test results?
