Use enough bleach and pour it right on your liner and you, too, can bleach your pool! 
The hose has been running wide open for 24 hours.
I hope my cost calculations are correct.
I added some Polyquat and a bottle of Clorox just to keep the algae from coming back during the refill.
I also decided to start using the Smilies since that is the custom.

Getting DE filter cannister to separate.
I cannot get the the halves of the filter to separate.
Any tricks here?
(Yes, I did remove the strap!)

OK.
DE filter cleaned. It was no that bad inside, really.
Now, I have a tiny leak in the filter housing.
Just a hairline about 3 mm long. I suppose it was self-sealed wit a plug of DE and debris.
Can these just be glued up from the inside?
Any recommendations on which glue to use?
