AGP installed yesterday. Only about 1/2 to 2/3 full right now. I need to shut off water to head to work. No chemicals have been added yet. Pool builder suggested adding shock and algicide. Should I add anything this morning b4 heading to work? I have bleach but wondering if I should use the shock that came with the pool? I don't know what is in the algicide?

In this type of instance, it would be ok to use a bag of shock. Bleach would be ok too though.
Thanks! Added in some shock (not too much..probably about 8 oz) and that seemed to bring chlorine up to 3-5ppm range.
