Cover Help

Hi Everyone--
First summer with new pool. Its an inground vinyl freeform with overflow hottub.
Need to start getting estimates on covers.....main priority is preservation of liner and avoiding fading. Second (or tied with first) is safety. Originally thinking a loop loc cover, but starting to hear there are many competitors to them that might be better and less expensive.
Also--While I dont have to go with my pool builder to but the cover, he is doing the opening/closings. Any recommendations on how to shop for one as well?

I went loop loc solid cover with mesh drains. Couldn't be happier. It did takes 2 months to get, so order early! Ours did great on the first year. My mother-in-law tripped and fell on it- no damage to her or the cover.
