I bought my Wife a $100 float, the blue fabric has started to get black algae on it, anyone have any cleaning ideas.

You sure it is not mold?
Bleach will solve either problem.

Use a diluted bleach solution around shock level ... ?

Maybe a color safe bleach will work. Possibly test a small area that is not easily seen to see if it beaches the color out or not.

What is color safe bleach? ... seriously I have no idea. If it has chlorine in it, then it is going to fade colors at high enough concentrations.
Maybe color-safe, just means the strength is very very very low?

You might also try a steam cleaner if you have one, or even a garment steamer

It didn't take long to get mold, maybe these have to be stored inside. Will try these ideas on an area that won't show much. Thanks
