Latest Numbers...

Water looks fantastic.. I don't really have a FC target.. but I would like to stay above five. I stopped using Trichlor a few weeks ago.. since then I am needing to add 1-2 gallons every other day to keep above five.

That all ties together nicely with your test results.

Generally, with a CYA of 45, a range of 4-7ppm is perfectly adequate and it sounds like that's the range you're already in.

Your chlorine consumption is perfectly normal as well.

If you demanded to adjust something in your pool, you could drop the Alk down to around 100........if it were my pool, I think I would spend the rest of the Summer swimming and enjoying the rewards of the nice work you've done on your pool water.

Thanks.. I couldn't have done it without all of you.

Yep, I am working on that TA.. I am considering going back to Trichlor pucks temporarily to get my CYA up a little more. I have some pucks left to use anyway. Yay or Nay?
