We finally have the ground level. Yay! So, my question is, we are going to lay down the 1" pink foam boards today. How do I tape the seams? Everyone is mentioning three layers of tape. Is this one layer of tape upon another or is it spread out so the edges of the first taping would be covered by the second layer and so on? Also, do you put any tape on horizontal to the seams? The boards are tongue and groove and we have a Gorilla pad to go on top. Should I place a tarp beneath the foam? So many questions. Sorry!

The first run of tape should be centered over the seam. The other two should tape the edges of the first run of tape.
