I am new here and this is my first post - and am hoping for some help/guidance. I am having a pool built - the dig starts tomorrow morning and we are having a Venice model from Viking installed. It is 40'2" x 16' with an 8 1/2' deep end. The plan is to have a paver deck/patio. My question is this - will any concrete be needed during the install? The builder/installer says no, but others I have talked to say yes. Other than the paver base, can the pavers and stone coping be installed without some kind of concrete base?
