pool bugs

Need some advice please.
been away for a few weeks, come home to find pool still crystal clear etc but, i have lots of little things about 3 or 4 mm long sqiggling around in the water, what are they and how do i get rid of them.

Welcome to TFP !

They could be mosquito larva. They wont hurt you but are very unsightly to look at. Do you have anyway of taking a picture and posting it so we can see what they look like ?
In a balanced pool they dont grow because the chlorine kills them off and then they are filtered out through your filter.

Also a full set of numbers would be helpful as well.
