In the past, I've used the powder boric acid. Now that my TA is almost back in check, I'm ordering 110 pounds of boric acid to replace the borates in my pool. Has anyone tried the granular boric acid instead of the powder? It's significantly cheaper.

The powdered form can be difficult to work with since it can stay on the surface. I always use the granular form and it dissolves quickly. I just brush the bottom with the small amount that doesn't dissolve in front of a return flow.
OH Yeah, works great. Duda Diesel has very good prices, I think shipping is cheaper on eBay.
I didn't think to look on eBay. I just went straight to Duda Diesel. Thanks!
