Pool remodel co. suggesting I replace caretaker heads and collars?

My pool remodel started yesterday and the tech is suggesting I replace all my heads to a different color (from white to gray) so they match my Caribbean blue pebble tech. I have a few heads missing and plan on replacing the 30 year old valve.
I guess my questions are
Do I need to do all the heads now?
If I do change the color will this look funny on the existing polaris caretaker heads?
Does anyone have experience with the after market heads (blue square or hydrowave)?
My concerns are the cost and finished look. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Guess no one wants to touch this one.
I can see the valves do not look interchangeable but was hoping for some input on the after market heads.
I will probably just bit the bullet if not insanely expensive (mainly why I am asking about the after market heads).
