That is cal-hypo which will increase your CH which could lead to calcium scaling.

All solid forms of chlorine adds something that stays in the pool after the chorine is used up.

That's 73% Cal-hypo.
If you have low CH, it can be viable. If you have normal or high CH, you're begging for CH buildup and scale formation. http://www.troublefreepool.com/content/142-how-to-chlorinate-your-pool
