Help with a wet end

I had a slight malfunction with the wet end on my above ground pool (24ft round). I now need a new one but the motor (Century Flex 48, 1hp) is fine. I keep getting mixed information on replacing the wet-end and of coarse the pool places want me to buy a complete new pump. I am not a complete dummy and I have already disassembled the old wet end from the pump. What I need to know is if wet ends are interchangeable and if so what to order. Thanks for the help.

They are interchangeable between brands, but you can buy replacement parts for your specific pump.

There doesn't seem to be a century brand wet end. Can you recommend a replacement? I have also been told that some are for spas and some are for pools even thought they lok exactly the same.....

Century is the motor brand. Do you have anything else that might suggest pump brand? Label on the wet end, manuals in the house, etc?

There weren't any markings on the wet end. Which is why I was hoping they would interchange. it looks a lot like a Aqua flo. but I was told that was for a spa.

Do you have any pictures of the pump lable and of the wet end?
