Tunnels from chipmunk

Hi all,
I have a bit of a issue, I had a chipmunk tunnel under my above ground pool and it made some pretty deep ruts, some as deep a a foot in some areas. I know I need to have the liner pulled and have the tunnels filled my big fear is in the meantime is the pool safe to use, as in if the liner springs a leak in the bottom will it burst the sides. The pool is about 7 years old so I really don't want to make things worse.

Jasper,

I don't think a leak on the floor from a tunnel will make the sides of the pool burst. I would however get the liner and ruts fixed as soon as possible.
