Dolphin advantage won't run full cycle

Hey, I have an opportunity to pick up a dolphin advantage. The owner says it cleans the pool fine, but won't run a full cycle. It shuts off after an hour. He says I can come look at it and watch it work. Has anyone had a similar issue? Could it be something simple? I'd love to get a great deal on a robot, but would hate to waste my money...
