I recently replaced my ic40. I had field calibrated my old unit before and had heard you wouldn't need to on the newer versions. Of course, I independently verified the salt level as good and the new unit read add salt. I'm trying to field calibrate and its not working. Any advise?

The older units supported calibration, but the newer units do not.
With a new SWG cell, the salt test is much more likely to be wrong than the SWG.

Are you kidding me? I used the salt strips to verify salt is ~3600 ppm AND my old swg (albeit field calibrated) read good as well. So what now, add salt till new swg is happy?

I've used the drop test and strips that both put me at about 3600ppm. My intellichlor reads at 3900 to 4050 from day to day. Since both are within range, I just let it be.

I have an Aquapure and it read low salt so I took the easy route and added more salt
