I have an old waterway clearwater fc150 filter which needs a replacement cartridge. When I google the part number (817-0150), I get results for a Filbur FC2969 and a Unicel C-9403. The first one is 25 1/4" tall while the second is 25 5/16" tall. Which manufacturer makes better filters and will the height difference matter? I would use the current filter as a guide but the last homeowner decided to buy a cartridge that's only 23" tall and apparently completely worthless for my system. Second, I have a Polaris 360 and have the regular tires with the vinyl liner. Anyone have experience with the PosiTrax tires and do they make a difference when it comes to vinyl liners?
