Salt water box

I recently converted to salt water.
The gentleman screwed the box that measures the salt levels on my fence. He assured me not to worry about the weather but as you all know it is not cheap. I am looking for some input regarding if people cover this year round in some type of enclosure? My backyard is in sunlight all day from 10:00am til the sun goes down. So the sun beats down on it all day and once the winter comes I think about this metal box rusting from the snow/freezing temps. If anyone has any ideas /picutures they could share I would really appreciate it.
Thank you

They really are weather proof, and will work for a long time even if left uncovered. A cover to protect from rain and sunlight can help a little, but completely enclosing it can be problematic. They get hot and need good ventilation.
