Today I discovered I was using a 25mL sample for the .5 ppm drop test instead of a 10mL sample...and did it all last year, too!!!!!

heh heh, I did the same thing several years ago and went into a panic Made myself calm down, realized my boo boo, felt better! That is one reason I always tell folks to wait a while and retest. BTDT :lol:

I noticed when pool math was off by close to 10ppm for the amount of bleach I added. After adjusting, it was right on. Sad because I did not let the kids swim yesterday because chlorine was above shock level. When it was esentiall half of what i thought.
