Just found this site and I am loving what I see. We have had our pool for about 12 years and it has been "mostly" trouble-free; until last year. When we opened the pool we had a milky-like suspension in the pool. If we shut the pump off at night, the water was crystal clear in the morning; within minutes of restarting the pump, the water clouded back up. Long story short, we went to 3 different "pool experts" and tried their fixes which included spending in the neighbourhood of $1000 on chemicals............. no fix. This year, screw the experts and we will try and manage the pool ourselves with help from forums such as this. Due to the cold wet spring we have had, we are just getting the pool opened up this weekend; gonna be a short summer.
