HELP PLEASE!!! We are new pool owners and have recently found our pool to be completely clouded with DE. I noticed the jets bubbling up and the DE follows. We had a service man come out and look over our grids and manifold and they were perfect. After speaking with our local pool supply store, they mentioned a possible leak??? Anyone have any helpful advice.
DE filter...air and DE shooting into pool from jets.

Welcome to TFP!!!DE (if that is what it is) can only get back to the pool if there is something wrong in the filter or something wrong with the backwash valve.

I agree with jblizzle....when you add DE the grids are supposed to trap it. If the grids are installed properly and not torn then the DE can't pass through and be returned to the pool. How do you know it's DE?
