Recommend you check out azwholesalepoolequipment.com, they have some of the cheapest prices on internet and will sometimes match.
Eco Star VS pump is $875.00 + shipping but no tax.

If you buy 3 or more Pentair equipments(lights, pumps, filter) they will add 3 years to manufacture's warranty.

You have a 78,000 gallon pool? That must be huge!

Just so we're on the same page, what kind of feedback were you hoping to receive on your post? Price feedback, equipment choice feedback?

Looks like vudoo already gave you some price feedback on the pump. I also see labor listed in your quote, which I assume means you're having someone install all of this stuff, that can somewhat complicate the pricing discussion because they may not be willing to install equipment you buy yourself. You still might be able to use the internet prices to leverage a discount but it's been my experience that pool stores don't really want to come down all the way to internet prices. Maybe others have had a different experience.

Finally made it back, had to buy 8k worth of AC, need help now

I got the numbers together and was hoping someone could help me out regarding equipment.

I was planning on doing the salt thing with the water instead of chlorine.(because of pool size I think chlorine would put me in the poor house)

Anyways here is the skinny

pool is 60 x 30 feet

Calculated headroom at 53 feet, and the gpm at about 156.

Can't seem to find the right equipment, do I need two pumps, filters etc???

P.S. looking at the sand type filters also.

thanks ahead for any info....
