Hi... I treated copper stains with oxalic acid in my fiber glass pool and it worked great except I ended up with a lot of crystal flakes in the DE filter. Does anyone know if it may have been a reaction with the DE powder or something else? I recently switched to a sand filter with glass media and am worried about the crystals blocking the filter as it is harder to clean out than a DE filter. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
