Would it be considered normal for a pool company to dispose of the old vinyl liner when they install a new one or would it be considered extra? I am a new pool owner and thought paying $2500 for a liner/install would include getting rid of the old one but they just left it at my curb which now it has to sit for 2 weeks until we have bulk trash pickup. I was wrong to assume and never asked them but I was curious if it is usually a thing they do or if it just varies depending on the company. They also left the liner box with trash in it so I guess it just rubbed me a little the wrong way.

Seems kind of unprofessional to me to leave trash and not clean up after themselves ... but I have no idea what the norm is.
I had my liner replaced this spring and they hauled away the old one. Of course, I also paid closer to 4k than 2.5k.
I had mine replaced and paid $2500, they most definitely took away the old liner. Pretty sure that was written in the contract.
