I have a Hayward swim pure plus installed in 2006. The cell is now bad and I need a new one. How do I know what size my cell was (15.25,40k gallons) and can I get a 25k to replace a 15k. I've read something about software issues. please help

Older units only work with two of the currently sold cell types. Of the two that work, the only one I can remember at the moment is the T-15, which is compatible with both old and new units.

If you have the old software, you can only use the T5 (which I think is discontinued) or the T15.
Compupool makes a cell which is compatible, but that wasn't what I was thinking of. I was thinking of the T-5, which is indeed discontinued.
