Hayward Diver Dave pool vac and intex sand filter SF80110

Hi everyone. We upgraded from a cartridge pool to a intex pool with a sand filter. The sand filter is model number is SF80110 and it came with the intex pool. We also bought a Hayward Diver Dave pol vac but cannot figure out how to hook the two together. Any help would really be appreciated.

Did you get this figured out? I have a similar setup and hook mine to the wall intake with the supplied hose and cone connector. I do not use the in-wall skimmer and vacuum plate as this seems to introduce air into the pump and cause problems there. Are you trying to convert from 1 1/2" to 1 1/4"?
