I need to order some more chems: R-0013, maybe some borate strips. But checking out the TFTestkits they also sell R-7065, R-7064, R-7063 Standard Solutions.

Questions
1) Are these worth having?

2) How do you use them?

3) What is the purpose for them?

Thanks, John

The standards are a set level that you can test to check your reagents as well as to verify your testing methods. Since the CYA test is so subjective I recommend that one so you can train yourself what the vanishing dot should look like. The others probably aren't as useful.

Confirming the above thoughts, our customers certainly agree. We sell FAR more of the R-7065 (CYA) than we do R-7064 (TA) or R-7063 (CH).

Most of that has to do with the CYA test being a bit hard to interpret and having that standard solution gives you a comparison.
