circupool hisalt and check cell lights

Every day my read out said high salt. In addition, the check cell and making chlorine light is out. The salt test is 3,800 and the water is dull. The unit was put in last March and the run setting is on Auto. If power it off, the chlorine light will come on. I do not read anything in the handbook about this matter. Why would the check cell light be coming on? I've checked all the wiring and it is OK.

Have you done a visual inspection of the cell? You want to examine it to see if there is any white crusty buildup on the cell plates. Assuming that doesn't turn up anything, I have heard of that particular model failing in this way. Perhaps someone who has had that particular problem will come along and comment.

I have taken the cell off and no buildup was on cell plates
