Significant scaling below water line

Hello Everyone,

Is there a place in the forum where guidelines are posted about dealing with scaling? I have white scales at the water line and grayish-tan scales on the walls and bottom of my pool in some significant patches.

There are some assumptions though...(1) you are testing your own water with one of the Recommended Test Kits and (2) you are familiar with PoolMath.

If you post a full set of good test results, there are plenty of folks around here that can get you started down the right path.
