Intex SWG and plumbing...

Hi all,
I have read a few posts on making custom adapters for the Intex SWG -> standard size but a lot of them don't show pics and don't really apply to what I am trying to do. I just replaced my jet(return valve?) and I am trying to connect my intex swg to it. Can someone please tell me what exactly I need to do this? Thanks in advance!

I did it with some adapters from Home Depot. Don't have the exact names with me but here is a pic. Then I used the hose that came with the pool to finish he connections.

I had to make my own rubber gaskets as well. I can get more info later.

I will try my best. We need to work our way down from 2" to 1" as the 1" has an 1" 1/4" OD to fit the pool hose

1st piece

Sch 40 Pvc Reducer Bushing (pvc 02112 4000) by Charlotte Pipe & Foundry http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000H5PWUQ/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_xN3Ntb09E5R7S

You will need 2 more of these. 1 1/2" to 1 1/4" and then 1 1/4" to 1".

After you get the the one inch you need a

NIBCO 436 Series PVC Pipe Fitting, Adapter, Schedule 40, Slip x NPT Male Nibco http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007Q45D2S/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_VR3Ntb005J4AQ

In this pice you will need to prime and glue a short piece of 1" sch 40 PVC to be able to slide the pool hose on. All of the threaded pieces need Teflon pipe tape. The large 2" adapter is where you will make the gaskets from this

Silicone Sheet, 70A Durometer, Smooth Finish, No Backing, Red, 1/32" Thickness, 12" Wid... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MAMGBY/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_xU3Ntb0HJCZCV

I made 2 ring gaskets out of this material. All I did was trace the connection from the 2" hose from the SWG and then cut out the middle to make an O ring shape.

Sorry the links are from amazon but you can get them from Home Depot or lowes. When you get the things pm me if you need any help. Or if you find a better way let me know! But no problems here. Make sure you have a couple of pipe wrenches to put together
